SCENE SIGNIFICANCES
v Scene of walking shadow followed by photo of a mirror and their superimposition portrays LIFE(walking shadow) starting to explore his/her inner world.
v The ups and downs of LIFE is portrayed by the periodical use of b/w, sepia and color media .
v See-saw sequence portrays different positions of LIFE as if seated on a see-saw, the other side of the see-saw being empty indicating the control of an invisible power on LIFE .
v The credits shown towards the end gives an apparent feeling that the film is going to end there but it continues promoting the idea “There is actually no THE END ”.
v The idea “There’s always a beginning in every end” is given by the words “CUT” followed by “LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION” which portrays the beginning of a new shot at the end of the previous one .
v The snap of the mountain peak i.e. destination of LIFE becomes more and more clearer as the film vis-a-vis the journey of LIFE progresses .
v “LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION” is followed by the snap of light entering the screen through a window which is actually a beam of hope (instead of a ray of hope) which is always present in LIFE, be it visible or not .
v The film starts with a black screen but ends with a white screen indicating the success of the exploration of LIFE or the shower of light awaiting the travellers thus presenting an optimistic view of life.
